Adding DANCE to Pole

That may sound odd to some…it would sound odd to those who think Pole Dancing is just girls grinding up and down the pole while stripping…that may be true IF you haven’t been well traveled or exposed to the world of exercise.  Heck, there are even people out there who think that by holding on to a vertical structure to prevent you from falling over means you’re an automatic stripping pole dancer! Talk about ignorance…

WELL, with the help of social media channels, things are definitely changing! Quite the contrary on what you may think what most people in Malaysia think…but exercise using a vertical steel pole had been well received in Malaysian media since 2007.  These days we can’t even get away with the link image of Pole and “MISSION IMPOSSIBLE”!

For myself, I’ve definitely been caught up in educating the public on physical fitness using Pole.  So much that I forget…sometimes…that pole is also an equipment I can use to express myself in a dance routine.

SO…I will be putting more effort to add DANCE into my pole routines for classes and performances.

More dance classes have been added to the schedule at Viva Vertical STAGE Studio like Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop…which means more learning for me! Wish me luck in a progressive dance journey please 🙂

Writing "About Me" sections had evolved in the past x years of online profiles, currently, it sits at me still hungry for enlightening experiences and insightful traveling, particularly with human connections. My story at full length on the "About" page :) Thank you for poking around!
